Too Long: One for Fall 2010

There are a lot of things that have happened since last post. But most of are what you might predict as people grow and get smarter and more talented.

We are proud to announce that Michelle, who has made it through two surgeries and nearly five years of life, "graduated" this past week from speech therapy. Her therapist evaluated her as being in the 79th percentile of kids her age, which is really quite wonderful given where she started. No more therapy should be necessary.

Michelle is off and running. Watch out, world.

Being Downtown

I spend a lot more time in the heart of our fair city these days, since my office is downtown. And that means I capture a cityscape (if you call can call it that in sweet little Moscow). Either way, here are a few recent photos for your entertainment and approval.

Peter Columbus Anton was born last night around 11PM. His birth measurements were 9lb 8oz, 22". Mom and baby are both doing very well. Thanks for your prayers and congratulations. (New photos will be added to the slide show as time goes on. So keep watching.)

Midsummer Faces and Places

We're a little crazy.

And we're electric.
On the crazy track again.
This is more "loopy," I'd say.
Intense, serious, and, let's face it, cute.
There was a little false start of harvest a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately it was followed by thunderstorms, rain, cold weather, and more rain and cold weather.

And there are some nice big summer bugs around too.

And when the weather is hot (like a couple of weeks ago) there are lots of squirt guns.

Ah, and icecream to stay cool too.

Michelle is still our "run, run, run.... splat!" girl. The concrete porch stairs jumped up and bit her.

And summer fruit in the mouth, that's worth celebrating!
